    23/03/2017 - UnitingCare West Farewells Retiring CEO Sue Ash AO
    At a farewell function on 16 March, UnitingCare West’s Board and Executive, and the community services sector, paid tribute to outgoing CEO, Sue Ash AO, who will officially retire on 4 April 2017 after six years of service to the organisation. Chairperson of the Board, Peter Fitzpatrick AM spoke of the valued contribution made by Sue and the high regard in which she is held by the Board, staff and volunteers of UnitingCare West.     06/02/2017 - 2017 Summer exhibition at The Warehouse Gallery “New Lease on Life”
    The Warehouse Gallery, nestled in the heart of the Shenton Park community, is proud to launch their summer exhibition called New Lease on Life.  Twelve local emerging artists have expressed their take on summer in 30 pieces of art that are featured on the walls of this neighbourhood café. The exhibition is launching on Friday 3 February 2017 at 6.00pm and all locals are welcome to join the official opening night. Read more >>

    Thanks to the generosity of the West Australian community, UnitingCare West was able to assist hundreds of families, children and individuals who were experiencing disadvantage during the Christmas period. Read more >>

    17/01/2017 - 2016 Mary Box Award
    The Mary Box Award is an award that supports young people with their education. Four young people from UnitingCare West’s Level Up program were awarded the Mary Box Award this year. Level Up is a work for the dole program supported by Atwork Australia which focuses on supporting Jobseekers holistically with issues that may be preventing them from obtaining employment, as well as providing real work experience to Jobseekers in the areas of reception, administration, project planning and program management through the coordination of a community project.
