UnitingCare West is seeking volunteers for its homelessness services

Do you have skills or knowledge that you could share with someone else to help change their life?

Can you knit, sew, play an instrument, draw, cook, or do any form of craft work? Can you spare one hour a month and meet with a small group and teach them a new skill?

We can provide facilities and support at our fantastic new Inner City Service Centre in East Perth. We can also help provide materials and equipment.

Homelessness can impact people's capability through loss of skills, social isolation and poor health outcomes. Homelessness also impacts on people's resilience, self-esteem and self-confidence.

It’s important to build people's skills, confidence and capability to empower them to feel connected within the community and in control of their lives again.

UnitingCare West are committed to supporting those experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives. You can help us. Together, we can make a difference.
