25 November is the UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. It is acknowledged in Australia and 56 other countries with White Ribbon Day.
White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working to end men’s violence against women and girls. It aims to promote gender equality and healthy relationships.
White Ribbon Day is a day that focuses on a new vision of masculinity and promotes an end to men’s violence against women. The annual awareness raising event is a male-led initiative movement.
UnitingCare West’s Wyn Carr Women’s Services works with women seeking refuge from domestic or family violence.
Wyn Carr provides safe, secure and supported accommodation for women over 18 years old, unaccompanied by children, and who have experienced, or are at risk of, family or domestic violence.

The Women’s Council for Domestic and Family Violence Services WA (WCDFVS) invites all community members to attend the 26th Annual Silent Domestic Violence Memorial March.
The Annual Silent Domestic Violence Memorial March is held to honour of all the women, men and children, who have lost their lives as a result of domestic homicide in WA.
